Scenery to the soul

i love nature and i love trees. i love open fields and i love the sun, so long as it is not too hot. i love open skies, the night, the day, the stars, the moon, the clouds, the mists, and the rain. i love emotions and feelings. i love words and word-play.

when i listen to certain songs, i get this certain vision of these things. or the feel of these things. the same things you'll feel about these kind of things. maybe it's because it's European music, or more specifically Scandinavian music, or even more specific, Finnish music. :D obviously, music can give you one of the best word-plays. like some of my recent favourites: 'i hid the keys to unlock love's heart', or 'turn to page 43, and you'll know how i feel' or 'to cry is to know that you're alive' or 'a deserted soul is gone', or 'lift the lid of your heart's casket in the arms of rain' or a gazillion more... :P sounds familiar? i don't know if these can be counted as word-plays but i love them all the same.

i love these songs with beautiful imagery, through the lyrics or even just the music or the voice. like eternity, i see the stars in the lit dark sky above the seas. like in the arms of rain, i see green hills and the summer rain. or gone with the sin, i feel the forestry. close to the flame, lonely nights. sleepwalking past hope, the feel of gloom and melancholy. in the night side of Eden, maybe celestial. or like beautiful, i just feel loved and i feel the love. it's beautiful really. when you feel the emotions. really. immerse yourself in it and you'll see.

i'm just a person who enjoys the senses and imagination. at least the good kind of senses and imagination.

    It is amazing that you can feel like this just with the help of music and it is a wonderful idea to share this feelings and associations with the rest here...Love reading your texts! Hope you will post something new soon! :)
    Is it just the finnish music that awakes such feelings in you? I mean, the celtic or native american music is awaking similar feelings in me...Maybe you should try that out ;)

    Omg thank you for your comment! You are the first to comment in my blog and I appreciate you reading my texts.. I never thought anyone would read them, I wrote them just to express my feelings. So thank you so much! Actually, all kinds of music could potentially stir these feelings in me, not just Finnish music, but recently these feelings are being awakened by Finnish music mostly, because it is what I'm listening to currently. Like the song 'Eternity' is simply an instrumental song from a Japanese game. I'm glad you liked my post. :)

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. I've watched this movie about this particular forbidden love. How my heart breaks for Riku. He's sort of the villain in all of it, but he's just a lost boy who kept an unrequited love for his friend. All those years, and everything was over when his loved one died. Dear

I've been spending a lot of time reminiscing about the past, and by that, I mean about Dir en Grey. Kyo's screams are the best then and now. I really miss the cute Kyo back when they first started. It baffles me how cute he was. Then when they went on Europe and American tours, things started to get pretty tough on them. Kyo turned to express himself more. I have to say, I don't miss the days when he self-harmed on stage. I'm glad those days are gone (almost...) but I do miss their intensity and the pain that I could hear in that voice. I could tell the frustrations that they were having, the pain and the difficulties, and it translated into a penetrating voice which Kyo would scream out to the audience. I think those times of trial and pain pushed them further with their performance, resulting in an emotional performance each time. I cherish those days but I'm sure as happy they are pass. I miss to hear the pain in that voice but I'm also glad the pain of tho...
